On Mornings

Some mornings the coffee or tea is enough. No plans, no scrolling, no agenda. Just the cup, the quiet, and five minutes that belong entirely to you. I used to think that was lazy. Now I think it might be the whole point.

No plans, no scrolling, no easing into the day with someone else's news or noise. Just the cup, the quiet, and five minutes that belong entirely to you before the world remembers you exist.

I used to think that was lazy. Unproductive. Like I was supposed to be journaling or meditating or doing something intentional with the stillness.

Now I think the stillness is the intention. That those five minutes - unglamorous, undocumented, completely ordinary - might actually be the whole point.
